Digital Citizenship has evolved from a list of "don'ts" to a series of "do's" that help teachers, technology leaders and parents understand what students should know about engaging in digital learning spaces appropriately. Digital Citizenship better prepares students for a world filled with technology and emphasizes positive norms of respectful, responsible and informed technology use.

The program includes a range of specific resources for kids, educators and parents, so everyone has the tools they need to learn and participate in the conversation. Teachers are provided with pre-built Google Slides presentations.

The International Society of Technology in Education rightfully believes that the elements of digital citizenship, "are not so different from the basic tenets of traditional citizenship: Be kind, respectful and responsible, and participate in activities that make the world a better place."
